Biometric access control

Live link:

A system that can be used to improve the security systems of objects, software, data…etc., by adding an additional layer of verification. Unlike ordinary access control systems that use access cards and/or codes, a biometric access control system uses a person’s physical characteristics such as fingerprints, facial photographs, and irises (so-called biometric data). These features cannot be copied, thus improving the accuracy of identification and authentication. In addition, biometric access control offers the option of contactless access control.

This access control system has a wide range of use, and is based on the logic of allowing only certain (authorized) persons, depending on the need:

· entrance to a certain area/object,

· access to the software,

· data access,

· access to devices,

· card payment, etc.

Also, a wide range of biometric solutions for access control from other manufacturers can be integrated into this system (both mechanical for multi-biometric identification and devices for scanning/extracting biometric data).
