Information system for border police

Live link:

A system for entering, processing and analysing data of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The system enables automatic data transfer to the central database and efficiently saves time. System modules (electronic event log records, sector records and business process

management) are integrated and centralized, without the possibility of external access to the system, and are set up as a web application on a central server.

The operational work of the system is based on stationary and mobile components. Stationary components are available on workstations within the intranet network, while mobile components can enter data in offline mode.

The implemented information system was successfully integrated into the operational work of the Border Police service, which was established in the Central Unit of Sarajevo, in 6 Field Offices, and in 22 border police units that include 101 sectors and 83 border crossings, of which 55 crossings are international and 28 border crossings are for local border traffic and transport.

The system has been established at 4 international airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka, and Tuzla) as well, with about 900 users of the system, with a tendency for future growth.
